Various pieces of information concerning training are to be found in this section:

  • training times - gives times as appropriate - please review these periodically as it may be necessary to alter some times occasionally, although if that is the case plenty of notice will be given. The section will be re-opened once Norman Park re-opens and things settle down again.

  • training principles - My approach these days is to work off speed through the winter months and gradually introduce endurance whereas the older approach was virtually the exact opposite, i.e. endurance first then introduce speed.

  • training schedules - shows what is/was on the schedule for each training phase - you need to be logged in to see these schedules

  • training routines - shows some of our common workouts and routines - you need to be logged in to see these routines

  • training venues
